We were lulled into complacency by the abundance of historic amounts of dictators seen during the 20th century, and somehow accepted the conventional wisdom that the supplies of tyrants was infinite. But events, particular in the past decade, show that the supply of dictators is limited….unlike the myth of finite amounts of energy. And will popular culture, as portrayed in movies, would have us believe that the next evil genius can pop up at any time, we, in the intelligentsia know that it takes dedication, focus and years of training to pass the licensing exams which are required to be a certified tyrant. And our so-called, elite universities are woefully prepared in the course offerings to be of real practical help.
